Web Development Process
how we do it
The first step in our web development process is to discuss with you all the details of your project. We have found that providing our clients with a worksheet asking them all the standard questions that go along with building a website expedites this step.
Once we have the necessary information, we will begin the design phase. Generally, we will provide you with 5-10 different styles, for a rough draft of your design. Once we have a style you are 100% happy with, we will begin fine-tuning the design.
Once we have the design approved, we will begin making that design interactive. The majority of our clients prefer WordPress for their content management system (CMS), for it’s simplicity. However, whatever your CMS preference is, we will ensure that every line of our code meets WC3 standards, along with cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.
Once the website is perfect in our eyes, we will need to train you to manage the site. Without having to become a web developer, we can show you most of the simple tasks, such as adding a new page, filling it with content, then adding that page to the website’s navigation. Once you are satisfied, we will launch the site. Meaning, making it available to anyone who types your domain in a browser.
